I have to go back to the hospital
Just when I thought I was on my way to recovery I found out I have an infection in my uterus and need to have a D&C tomorrow. DD is 6 weeks old and I got my 1st period on Saturday. It was soooooo bad and the cramping was unreal. I went to the doctor and they order an ultrasound which showed a lot of clots and heavy blood. They can't say for 100% what is causing it but they want to do the D&C and get a better look. Wish me luck ladies! I have no idea what to expect

I had an infection in my uterus after my first c-section. I had to go back into the hospital for a few days when DS was only 9 days old. The infection was VERY painful, and also caused a great deal of clotting/bleeding. However, after a few days on I.V. antibiotics, I was a lot better. When I had my second child, they put my on preventative antibiotics, and it was much smoother-no infection.
