They say that *if* he survives he will never be the same, and they have no idea how bad the brain damage is...but they say its NOT good.
I might be in the minority here, and I speak with experience,
Its worse to see someone you love suffer for the rest of their life then watch them pass peacefully.
I agree with this.
I was wondering if they were keeping him alive till all his family were there. And maybe just getting things in order.
I said it earlier, I'm no fan of the Kardashians. But my heart breaks for Khloe. I wouldn't wish this position on anyone.

I agree with that. It's about quality of life. It's selfish, imo, to keep someone physically here when mentally, emotionally, etc they're gone.
THIS. I have a cousin who refused to sign a DNR for her baby--that baby is now 8 and has been hooked up to tubes etc with minimal brain activity for 7.5 years of her life. Sometimes the hardest thing is the best thing.

Look at Bobbi Brown. They kept her lifeless body "alive" for 6 months.
I wish this on no one.

Lamar Odom has "opened his eyes," an insider confirms to Us Weekly.
After being unconscious since Tuesday, Oct. 13, the former NBA player opened his eyes at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas on Friday, Oct. 16. He has been in critical condition for nearly 72 hours.
Entertainment Tonight also reported the news. The site further claimed that Odom was able to communicate. According to ET, Odom was asked if he wanted to see his kids, and communicated "Yes." It still remains unclear how he conveyed his response.
TMZ reports, however, that while there's been evidence of some body movements, including eye opening, doctors say it may be involuntary.

I don't think the verbal response was involuntary. But the movement was.
However I do believe they are just pulling at straws to be the 1st to report it. To have the breaking news.
Makes me sick.
And nothing has come from the family or a family spokesperson. Just an insider.
