flu going around?
i have such a bad sore throat and have been nauseous since last night... I've had the flu only once in my life, and it was wayyyy worse than this, but is there something going around? I feel like my students might have gotten me sick :( :(

flu going around?
My son had this for two weeks, eventually became an ear infection. The change in weather is making it rough cold wise. Feel better.

Those are mot symptoms of flu...as in influenza. ...but there are always tons of viruses going around...in all 4 seasons

yea i know- last time i got the flu, it started out this way, and then the fatigue and achey feelings set in. Haven't had that, so I'm thinking it's just a really bad cold. This sore throat is killing me

Drink hot tea with honey and a little apple cider vinigar. It will make you feel better.

not that I know of. I've never had strep before, so i'm not sure what it would feel like. I'd imagine that if I get to a point where it is totally unmanageable, I will get a throat culture done

See if you can get the tea called Organic Throat Coat. Target has it and so does Stop and Shop in tbe organic aisle.
It is awesome.
And if it doesn't get better in a few days and you get a fever, get a culture. I have had strep 2 times in the past few years. It's no joke!

Feel better. My dd stayed home from school fri shes had a fever snd congestion. Started thurs and today fever broke but shes all nasal and stuffed.
