Area around Columbia University...specifically the football stadium
Is anyone familiar with the area around Columbia University football stadium? I have out of town family visiting that would like to go to a game and I'm just trying to get an idea of what to expect while traveling there. Thanks!

the 1 and 9 train stop by there. parking: there is an annex from columbia pres (or whatever that hospital is called now), i'm not sure if they allow parkin for the games. i believe there's a parking garage across broadway from the field.
that's all i remember. i haven't been there in a while.

yes. safe area. it's nice and open. the highway is on one side, the football field is on the other and just past that is the hudson.
as alli said, there's not a part of manhattan that i wouldn't walk.

The 9 train hasn't existed in about 10 years.
