White face in house windows
I have noticed several homes in my area with what looks like a face in the window, the face is white it is made up of just eyes, nose and a mouth. Has anyone noticed it I have seen it in about 7 different homes, and also have seen it on trees, the face always looks the same. Just curious if anyone knows what it means, I googled it but can't find anything.

The only thing that I thought of was the cool black & white bill murray stickers that people put on their cars.
I can't imagine having that in my window, though 
Is it a spooky looking face? Does it have an expression? and how big is it?
I'm intrigued. Slightly horrified, but intrigued.

ok this is what it looks like, i was driving so forgive my less than perfect photos! I am so curious as to what this means- I am out in South Setauket, have also seen one in Stony Brook

Have you driven by at night? They are probably glow-in-the-dark decorations that light up at night...like a carved pumpkin.

i don't believe it's a decoration they have been up over 2 months now- and they don't light up nothing like that... this is seriously making me a little crazy.... i may need to knock on someone's door!

It means nothing to us, but is perhaps symbolic of something, and means something to all of them? If you are friendly with any of your neighbors, I would ask. Maybe it's a tribute to an ill person, a person that passed, etc.

That's what I was thinking, that it's a bunch of kids who thought this would be funny to put in a window of their home.

That's what I think too. Around me, the kids all TP each other's houses around Homecoming. Seems like that same type of thing.

I've seen that all over multiple places tons of times
I also wonder what it means, I have noticed it on what looks like windows that have just been installed but then they keep it on for a long time. I have no idea what it means but I've always been curious and would love to know Lol

They may be letting other neighbors that they have been Boo'd. Some blocks anonomously leave candy and treats at neighbors with a note saying hey've been Boo'd. You are instructed to then Boo another house and place a ghost face on your door or window alerting other neighbors that you have already been Boo'd and not to leave more treats. Maybe this block is starting really early???
