Need some hugs
DS had a really rough night. It took him over an hour to get to sleep while crying hysterically. Then he was up every hour crying. He had been sleeping between 10-12 hours a night.
I don't know what it could be. He doesn't have a temp, but could be teething. We gave him tylenol last night but it didn't seem to help. Any thoughts or suggestions?
I feel so guilty that I have to go to work today and he will be with my mom all day.

I had a night like that once, and rushed to the pediatrician thinking it might be an ear infection. Well, the doctor found nothing and the next night we were back to normal! So here's hoping its just an off night!!

I know it's tough - I've been there too. You have to do what you have to do. It does sound like you're leaving him in the BEST care!

samantha had a night where she woke up more than usual and it wound up being gas - our poor lil girl - dh ran to cvs and got her mylicon which we gave her after she ate - and she was back to normal by the next feeding! hope your lil one feels better!!

Thanks everyone. Last night wasn't much better. He slept about 10 hours total, but woke up about 5 times crying. Each time he only cried for about a minute and then fell back to sleep on his own. It's heartbreaking
Did anyone else experience this? It seems like he may be having nightmares but I don't think they can have them at this age.

Matteo had a night like that, would wake up every 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Crying in his sleep. He was a little stuffy so I let him sleep in the swing. But it sounds similar to your little guy, got up about 5 times and didn't sleep too long. But then he slept the next night.
