HR-type question

i have a notice i must give all employees. will stapling a copy of the notice to their paychecks be enough or should i have them sign something acknowledging they received it?

the notice is just a gentle reminder of how to complete their time sheets and it includes a small table of the payperiods and paydays for the remainder of the year.

ETA: the reason i ask is because there are two employees who NEVER come to the office, so getting their signature is hard.

safety pin the notice on their shirt and have their SO sign it when they get home.

eta- never come to your office? or they work from home? if they work from home, email it and have them confirm they received it.

it's a long story... one is the owner's wayward son who would rather die 20 million painful deaths than to come to the shop. the other is his driver/assistant, who has to go where the first tells him to go.

i guess i can email it to them and set the email to send me confirmation of it being received.

HR-type question

I would just include it with their paycheck. Something like that wouldn't require a signature in my office.

Not sure why this would require a signature. Just email it if you are able too, otherwise including it in their paycheck is fine

We get reminders about timesheets often, and they are just emailed company -wide.

If this is the hourly wage notice, I would mail a copy to their home address, include one with their paycheck & sent out an email reminder.

it was mostly a "please don't fill out the 'OFFICE USE ONLY' part of your time sheet, because 99% of you don't know how to add" notice. i then included a small chart at the bottom reminding them of the remaining pay periods and pay days for the remainder of the 2015 year.

Re: HR-type question

that kind of stuff is emailed at my job. the only thing we had to sing for internal use ( meaning not insurance forms, etc) was the employee handbook receipt.)
