Has anyone done Europe (Italy) with a baby?
Are we crazy to plan a trip with a 10 month old?
If you've done it, can you please share your experience and any tips???

Re: Has anyone done Europe (Italy) with a baby?
We did 2 weeks in Italy with our 2 year old in October. Everyone thought we were crazy but it was one of the best trips we've ever done. It's such a great country and so much to see and do and EAT.
We flew on the super cheap flight to Milan (like $500) and got him his own seat so we had more room to spread out. He did not sleep on this flight at all.
We then took the train straight from Milan to Florence and stayed there 4 days. Then took a train from there to Rome and stayed another 4 days. Then train again to Naples where rented a car and drove all over the Amalfi coast for a few days.
Booking in advance the trains are cheap, reliable and easy to navigate.
We booked 2BR apartments on VRBO or AirBnB so we had room to spread out and our Rome apt even had tons of toys in it.
The only downside we didn't plan for was baby jet lag. Holy cow that was miserable. He was up in the middle of the night the first couple of days, but then adjusted.
Let me know if you have any questions...don't second guess...just go!!!
