Has anyone done Disney while PG?
DH brought it up this morning talking about going Christmas break. I would be 23 weeks. I'm torn. Thoughts??

Has anyone done Disney while PG?
I went to Disney when I was about 22 weeks pregnant and it was great. I made sure that I stayed hydrated and we took it slow when needed. We were there with my 2 years old so there were really no rides that I was not able to go on that he wanted to go on.

I did it when I was 20 weeks PG. We went in May and it was hot some days. We rested and sat when I needed to and drank tons of water. I went on most rides except for ones with big drops or roller coasters.

I did it in November I was about 22 weeks. It was fine. Weather was perfect. I think I needed a light sweater. We did MK one night and I went on the low key rides/attractions.

Re: Has anyone done Disney while PG?
Yes. Was about 20 weeks at the time. Went in nov/early dec. we had our dd with us so I sat with her while the rest of our group (dh, bil and his gf) went on rides. I had been before and have gone since so I didn't really see it as missing out. And those Mickey ice cream bars taste 100% better when you are pregnant b

Yes, I was 25 - 26 weeks and it was great! If it were Christmas time, I would have enjoyed it even more. Temps were in high 90's (higher than average for when we went).

Re: Has anyone done Disney while PG?
I went in July when I was about five months pregnant. Other than making sure I drank a lot of water, it didn't impact me at all. it was extremely hot, but we always go to Disney in July since we are both teachers. We usually go back to the hotel around noon to swim/relax and then go back to the parks in the afternoon.

I guess I'm in the minority but I went at I think 21 weeks-ish and I was quite uncomfortable. It was September and very hot. It was really my legs/feet that couldn't handle it.

I went at 34/35 weeks pregnant in June a few yrs ago and was totally fine. I think it depends how you feel in general. If you're miserable, you will probably be more miserable. If you feel good you should be fine. Don't make a crazy hectic schedule either.

I was 14 weeks, and was fine. It was in July and hot, but we were all hot! As a pp mentioned, it depends on your own pregnancy. If you feel fine in everyday life, there's no reason not to go. If you're having a very uncomfortable pregnancy, then you'd be uncomfortable there as well.

Yes and I would try to avoid it in the future unless there was a strong reason to go right then. I had a fairly easy pregnancy but the heat and walking was too much. I was told not to go in any rides by my OB (no special reason, just as a standard precaution) and I couldn't partake in the wine and food festival. We cut days short and it was just DH and I. I felt like it was a waste.

Re: Has anyone done Disney while PG?
I just went in the middle of June at 23 weeks.. it was great!! It was obviously super hot.. so I just made sure I stayed hydrated. Sat down and took a break in the shade when i needed to. Went on all the gentle rides with my DH and DS. I am so glad I went before the baby gets here, since it will be awhile before we can go back!!

No I wouldn't. We went to a different amusement park, I could not get on anything and it was exhausting standing around. I felt like it was a waste and wished we did a beach vacation instead.

Agree, my OB also said no rides. The signs all say no pregnant women, even for slow ones.

Re: Has anyone done Disney while PG?
I was 16w pregnant with twins when we took our 2yo to Disney and had an amazing time!! We went at the end of January, so the weather was perfect in the mid 70s. I went on the little kiddie rides and it was fine.
