Bachelorette weekend in winter
My Bil is getting married and I'm very close with his fiancé. We're trying to come up with something fun to do for a weekend. The problem is we will be celebrating in the winter. We thought about Newport, but she's done that for friends and wants to do something different. Crystal Springs in NJ is definitely on the table, but I'm looking for some other suggestions too. Here is what we're looking for- within a couple hours driving, things to do either at the hotel or close by, maybe a spa, restaurants and nightlife close by. Of course we're considering a casino, but I'm looking for suggestions I may not be thinking of. We would be open to renting a house somewhere, but we don't want to be stuck in a house all weekend with nothing to do. So maybe somewhere with a cool town. This will probably be in January, possibly February.

My husband has rented houses in Burlington Vt for bachelor parties. He doesn't ski but the people who like that go out during the day. From what he says there is a pretty fun night life.

This is what I was going to suggest. If you're not into skiing you can do tubing instead. But the town is really great and the nightlife is good.
