Hudson valley wine trail

Has anyone been to the wineries in the Hudson valley? My sisters and I are looking to do a day or weekend trip in the fall. I'm coming from the north; they're coming from the island so it's about 90 minutes for all of us. Our DHs will be the DDs if we do a day trip.

Any recommendations for specific wineries?

If you stayed in the area, where would you recommend? We're not looking to spend a ton and we'd probably have 3 kids in tow (2 year old, 17 month old, 6 month old).

Hudson valley wine trail

My friends and I rented a house in Milton NY. If you look on vrbo it will probably be the only house option to rent. We went to two wineries. White cliff and Robibero. But where nice but more rustic that the places on the north fork. We also went to the spa in Milton for massages and walked the bridge that spans the Hudson River. It was a nice weekend away. We didn't bring kids but the house was great as we had a nice weekend.
