diaper pail recommendations??
I'm on the search for a good one. I used to have the Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail by Munchkin and the thing did not last very long. It's latch broke, making smells spread and hindering the thing useless. It happened twice. At first I thought it was my fault and I was too rough with it, so I bought another, but that one broke too within only a few weeks. So now I realize it's the brand. This time around I really want something that lasts, but that also has inexpensive refills that I can easily find during regular shopping.
Any recommendations?

Re: diaper genie recommendations??
I had the Diaper Genie II elite I think.
It was great- lasted through all her diaper years and never smelled as long as you changed the bag on schedule

We have the Diaper Dekor Plus, holds the smell in very well, like very very well. It holds a lot of diapers.

Thank you for the recommendations!! I was reading reviews and even the munchkin one got good feedback so I know it can't be trusted. lol.
ChristinaM, you too? Ugh. Definitely a cheaply made pail. I need something much more durable this time around. So frustrating.

No probs with my diaper genie... I'm actually looking to declutter my house and am selling it (Dd is out of diapers now). I have a couple of refills left over that I could throw in if you were interested. LMK. I'm in Holbrook.

This.. I've been happy with it.
I've heard good things about the UBI but could'nt justify the price

Our Ubi was so worth the price... to not have to buy diaper pail refills and just use a regular garbage bag, love it! I def recommend it! After about a year, it did start to smell but that's a whole lot of diapers for a long time before the smell kicked in. I'm buying another for baby #2.

Re: diaper pail recommendations??
I had the Ubbi for DD and I didn't really like it. The bag would fall in a lot even though I tied it tight (or so I thought). It didn't really hold the smell in that well. I just started throwing her diapers in the regular trash.

I have the Ubbi and I love it. They sell bags for it but regular kitchen bags work perfectly.

Really? I've never had a bag fall in--been using for 14 months. Did you use their bags or kitchen bags? I use kitchen bags & don't tie anything--I put the bag in with the white ring down, then lift the white ring and tuck in the edges of the bag and it holds perfectly. No smell either
