Mini vaca ideas - need advise
My head is going to explode planning a two day trip away. LOL! I have better luck planning Aruba and Disney.
Anyway... first thought was Hershey Park. Got some great ideas what to do and where to stay.
My friend said she's not a fan of Hershey, but for a two day trip they're planning either Kalahari or Aquatopia.
Thoughts? Anyone been to any that can give me advise what to do? DH is gonna kill me with all these changes.

Re: Mini vaca ideas - need advise
My boys LOVE hershey!
They have been there 3-4x and want to go back every year.
Other idea is lancaster. YOu have dutch wonderland, cherry crest farms, childrens museum, railroad museum, etc. I like hershey better than DW but there is more to do in lancaster. We did both one year 1 day at DW and 1 day at Hershey but you can easily spend 2 days at hershey especially if you do the water park area!

Re: Mini vaca ideas - need advise
Haven't been to Hershey in years, but I do remember loving it. I did just go to Kalahari and I thought it was great. I took my children (7 yrs. old and 8mths old) and went with my sister and her two kids (10 and 5) and all the kids had a blast. My other sister went to Aquatopia with her daughter as a sixteenth birthday trip and she said that was definitely geared more for older children. HTH!

My kids(3&5) love Hershey. We recently stayed at Eden for 3 nights & wish we booked for one more night, we had so much fun. You can't go wrong there. If your kids love a water park, they have a great water area. My 5 year old said he had a better time at Hershey than he did at Disney. I want to go every year.

I haven't been to Hershey since I was a kid, but I have lots of friends who go and they all love it. I have never heard any complaints. I would save Kalahari for the winter and enjoy the outdoors while you can.

How old are your kids? Summer time? For a few day trip, we love Hershey, Lancaster, Mystic. Sesame was fun too. Never been to the 2 places you mentioned.
