Kalahari in the Poconos
Anyone been yet? It just opened a few weeks ago so I know it's new but is it better than great wolf?

Re: Kalahari in the Poconos
I haven't been yet, but have read great reviews on the other Kalahari resorts. I was just looking into it because there is a groupon for it.

Re: Kalahari in the Poconos
I just went this past week and loved it. I have never been to Great Wolf but my sister has been there and she came with us to Kalahari. She preferred Kalahari. She felt there were more food options, and it was bigger. We had children from 5-11 and they were all very happy. I was very happy with the swim up bar! :) I think it's definitely worth it, especially if you get the groupon.

They're still doing construction right? Was it noticeable or impose on your time there at all?

Re: Kalahari in the Poconos
I just noticed this, sorry I didn't respond before. The construction didn't affect our trip at all. It is all being done outside, nothing going on indoors. As for the camelback waterpark, my sister took her teenaged daughter there this summer for her sixteenth birthday. She said that was definitely geared for older kids while Kalahari was perfect for grade school kids.
