What did you wear at Disney?
I went out and bought shorts at Target (the looser, flowy kind with elastic waistband) but I can't tell you how much I effen HATE shorts.
I normally wear capris all summer long here in NY. I hate my short legs and have a big ass so think they look terrible on me.

I always wear shorts when we go to Disney in the summer. It is so incredibly hot at points during the day that I can't imagine not having shorts on. I also wear a flowy tank top and slip on sneakers.

Shorts....you will never see those people again, so who cares what they think of you! Function over fashion in my book! LOL

LOL I guess although we do know a couple other families who are going to be in Disney the same time as us.
I asked the same question on another board and a lot of the Florida girls are responding they wear maxi dresses. I don't even want to think about that big soppy mess getting off of Splash Mountain. 
A few people suggested yoga capris too which I have and wear all the time here.

denim shorts and tank and flip flops. I bring a hat and sneakers (throw it in the stroller) too.

Can you wear a short, casual sundress?
I have never been to Disney but that is what I'd wear.
I don't like shorts- they are so binding and it's like wearing jeans- denim- so hot/
A loose flowy dress- short- would seem a better, more comfy option

I went in early May, so it was hot, but not brutal. But I wore shorts... I typically wear longer "walking shorts" or "bermuda shorts" rather than short shorts) or lightweight capris. I tried to stick with cotton, lightweight materials... cargo shorts, etc. (as opposed to denim, for example). I wore t-shirts and sleeveless tops. And lightweight slip on sneakers (sketchers go walk and a pair of nike lightweight waterproof slip on running shoes).
I would bring more clothes than you need (like 2 outfits per day), because you do get hot walking around. We usually took a mid-day hotel/pool break, and who wants to put back on sweaty clothes after that? I usually rinsed off in the shower and then changed into a fresh outfit.
I did bring a couple of sundresses for dinners out. But while I much prefer lightweight casual summer dresses over shorts while at home, I didn't want to be climbing in and out of rides in dresses. If you are not a rides person or don't think you will go on a lot, then maybe it doesn't matter.
I like to look cute at all times, but I definitely went for comfort over style there, and I'm glad I did!

You could, just make sure you are comfortable in it climbing in and out of the rides. I would be worried everyone would see my underpants

I wore shorts or very light weight capris for the parks - and sundresses anywhere else.
I am always in a dress, but IMO you can't do it climbing in and out of rides with the kids etc -
Trust me, once you see some of those people and how they are dressed, you'll be thinking "and I'M insecure about my legs??? !!"
