Its a huge resource for all cruises, you can also find your roll call and speak to people who be on board your cruise.

Everything. Taking my first cruise from Rome on NCL.
We just got back from the NCL cruise out of Rome. Assuming you are doing the same 7 night Mediterranean cruise.
Feel free to ask me anything.
I recommend making your dinner reservations ahead of time. I was disappointed with the Cirque dinner show. I was expecting a Cirque du Soleil type show. It was more of a burlesque show with cast in circus costumes. Did not think it was worth the $40 per person extra price.
We did excursions to Monaco/Monte Carlo and Amalfi Coast. I recommend doing excursions if you want to do a lot of sightseeing. On the ports that we did not have excursions booked, we did not do a whole lot. Most ports are still quite a bit of distance away from the major sights so you waste valuable time trying to find your way around. The first port we went to was Livorno and I had no excursion booked. We were still jetlagged. I got off the ship to realize that there was nowhere for me to go. I had not done any research for that port and wasted the day. Florence/Piza were at least an hour away and there weren't even cabs right off the boat to drive me. I wish I had better planned that day.
NCL had a great $20 laundry bag deal. I think it was on the 4th day. It was a godsend because we were going through 2-3 outfits per day. Otherwise, you are paying like $5 to get a tshirt washed.

Cruise tips
We just returned from a week on the Breakaway to Bermuda. These are the cruise tips (mostly garnered from Pinterest) that I found helpful:
Bring an over the door shoe organizer. I found it helpful to store smaller items (i.e. jewelry, wipes, sunscreen, deodorant) since space is at a premium.
Bring a highlighter so you can highlight all the things on the daily cruise schedule that you don't want to miss. There's a lot of info on there and you don't want to miss anything.
Bring lots of magnetic hooks. The walls in your cabin are magnetic. The magnetic hooks came in handy to hang bathing suits, towels, anything not too heavy.
Bring a power strip or charging station. Outlets are basically non-existent in cruise ship cabins. The charging station we brought was a godsend.
Have fun!!

There's either an outlet by the vanity and/or in the bathroom.

I'm sorry if I insinuated there were no outlets. Oops!!! I just meant that outlets are at a premium. I believe our cabin had two. With the need to charge several devices, the charging station came in handy.

We stayed in a family balcony. The hair dryer had its own plug. It was also by a double outlet, the only 2 outlets I had in our room. Epic's design is a bit strange that the sink is not in the bathroom.
