Wondering your thoughts
How can one have family values like others preach about if you're so busy working all the time?

Said he was speaking about part time workers getting more hours.

DH is an economics professor and I asked about this and as others have said, you have lots of p/t people who want f/t hours but their employer can't or won't.
We already work more hours than the rest of the industrialized world. DH and I were chatting with the father of one of DD's friends who is from France and now working in the US and he commented on the difference- Europeans have a very different perspective on work (a healthier one, IMO)
ETA- It's too bad that he has this attitude. I am not a Republican but won't write them off automatically. However I can't deal with religious zealots like Huckabee and Cruz, Walker and Rubio are dipshits and I don't think Christie has the temprament. Trump- no words. Jeb was the only one I remotely considered but I am rethinking now, I won't hold his family name again him but he is clearly out of touch.

I am very liberal but I don't think that this was a horrific statement by Bush - he was referring to part-time workers.
I think out of the current crop of Republican candidates Bush is the best choice - I would never vote for him in a million years but I would much rather see Bush as the president than Ted Cruz.
