yeah-- I saw that sound byte on the news just before and thought the same thing.....
Of course the economy is going to be just fine eventually-- it ebbs and flows, history has proven that.
People want to know what's going to happen in the next 6 months, year, etc.

I have to throw this out there to all you people that say the sarcastic "wow I feel so much better".
What do you expect him to say? That the economy is in the toilet? 
If he says that, the 700 drop we saw last week will look like nothing.

I would rather the man stay quiet and not say anything...but then again...we would pick on him for staying silent.
