Subway question
I've lived on LI for ten years but have never gotten comfortable with the subway. Tonight I'm going to Radio City from Penn and am trying to avoid a transfer. Can I take the 1, 2, OR 3 uptown two stops to 50th or would I have to grab a specific one, like ONLY the 1 would get me there but not the 2 or 3? Thanks for any help you can offer!

Looks like you can take the "E" from Penn to 7th Ave 53rd St.

Neither the 2 or 3 stop at 50th street. You can take the 1.

Only the 1 stops there - the 2 and 3 go express from 42nd st to 72nd st.

I work across the street. The B,D, Q or F stop literally underneath the building.
ETA: the 1 goes no where near Radio City.

Yes I have hopstop. I was just trying to avoid a transfer because they give me anxiety. I grew up on farm in the middle of nowhere and this sort of thing stresses me out haha.

Hopstop is the only way I can survive in the city-- that and google maps giving me directions once I'm off the subway and on the street!
Does hopstop not show a route with no transfers?

It should give every option from walking for four hours, to taking 8 buses, to taking a taxi. If you go to the actual site, you can choose "More walking, less transfers", though it's not a feature on the app for whatever reason.

Yes and if you don't like the route, hit reroute and it will give another option
