Where to go in August with a girlfriend only?
My friend and I are planning to go away together for about 5 days in August. We are open to flying or driving.
Where would you go?
I would like to go somewhere with a nice pool and spa. Beach not necessary.

Rehoboth. (Not sure about pool or spa but they have the best shopping and restaurants).

Paris
Amsterdam
San Francisco / Napa
Quebec

Far enough away from the craziness, but you can take a cab right if you want to go to South Beach for a night
Or the Canyon Ranch in Miami.

My first pick is Paris but my friend thinks the time is too short and expensive for a short trip.
We are exploring SF/Napa. My friend has never been to Napa.

Our last trip together was to Miami when I was 6 weeks pregnant. It was the first time I was nauseous. I thought I was airsick. I threw up for the next 33 weeks or so until I delivered.
I did not get to enjoy that trip at all!

I was just in Majorca and Barcelona in June. Weather was perfect.

It can be hot..over 100 degrees but it didn't bother me at all. I had the best hair days in Vegas..it's not hot and humid like NY. Plus we spent time indoors as well - casinos, shows, in the AC.

I was about to say Paris too. We just went for four days and it was honestly perfect. The flight isn't even that long.
Bermuda? Scottsdale?
