Halloween costume spin-off
So, I noticed that most of us seem to be dressing the little ones up for Halloween. So, my question is...what are you doing with them that day?
I didn't dress Katherine up last year--she was born in September and I never got my act together. This year we are dressing her as a pumpkin, but I'm not going to take her trick-or-treating since she's only 1...should I just parade her around the neighborhood after work??
What are you guys doing?

Re: Halloween costume spin-off
We are going to my mom's for Halloween, Julia (15 months) will trick or treat with her cousin's who are 4 and 2, she will probably stay in her stroller most of the time, but its fun to watch my niece and nephew.

Re: Halloween costume spin-off
I am taking Ry up to Dh's school (he is a teacher), then to my moms house where we will go to the neighbors for a mini trick or treating since he will be 9 months.

Our friends usually have a Haloween party with all the kids. The YMCA by us also has a Halowwn night the night before Haloween.

Re: Halloween costume spin-off
I honestly have no idea. I'll be working and won't be home until well after 6pm...so it's almost pointless for her to even get dressed up. But I know that DH and I will probably just take her for a walk around the block so she can see the other kids in their costumes.

Re: Halloween costume spin-off
Last year- I just took DS to visit my co-workers, some family and friends- and dressed him up..
This year- we will be just getting home from our VACA- but he will dress up- visit the grandparents, and then go trick or treating w/ my friends children-
He will mostly be in his stroller- but I know he will so happy to be out and walking around
