For Mommies that are nurses
After much deliberation I have decided to change career paths and embark on a career in nursing. I need to do 3 pre-reqs which I will start in the Spring and hopefully be accepted into a program for Fall 08.
Do you find nursing to be a good fit with having a family. Dh is FDNY so i am hoping we can coordinate shifts in the future

i am so happy for you!! i am a nurse and it's great with kids. there's so much you can do, part time, full time, 12 hour shifts, home care, travel, agency, school nurse. the salary is good, the benefits are good, i work for a place that i make my own schedule so it's flexible! it's not glamorous but i love it. FM if you want!
