Splish Splash
I left NY a few years ago and am coming home for my annual visit this summer. DD is 4 and I'm considering Splish Splash, but haven't been there since I was something like 12 or 13. lol. Is there anything there for a 4 yr old or is that too young to even enjoy it? And if so, anybody know prices to get in for the day??

Nobody's familiar at all with splish splash?
I looked it up and have found that they're definitely pricy, but worth it only if there's enough for a 4 yr old to do for a few hours. Would love some feedback from parents with children of similar ages if it's worth it or should just wait till she's older.

Splish Splash
Yes there is a ton to do for that age. Splash castle type things, family water slide, tube slides (doubles are great for 4 year olds). The new pirate family ride thing is cute. Bird show is neat. We have been going for years and it's VERY clean, and VERY fun there!!

Thanks! Sounds like there would be a lot for her. I wouldn't want to spend that $$ and then have her bored within an hour. lol. I'm not sure what rides I could do since I'm pregnant, so it would mostly (if not completely) be about her.

Hmmm, I think that might change things a bit then. If you can't go on the double tube slides with her, then she really can't. Unless she is super tall, and you are comfy with her walking through the line by herself, then racing to the bottom to retrieve her. The family raft ride is tame, so you would probably be okay on that one being PG. The pirate ship thing is also tame, no hills, just a boat that goes around. The lazy river is fun, too though! I think you will find enough to do to justify the expense. Enjoy!
Also know that they are VERY strict about bringing in food/drinks. You can have NO food at all, regardless of allergies, etc. You can only have SEALED water bottles. If it's opened already, they make you toss it. Nothing with flavor!
There are coupons on PC Richards, so if you can get your hands on those, you can save a few $$$

Ok, thank you for that information. I do remember as a child they were STRICT STRICT about the food and drink stuff too. If we do go, it will be with the family (my parents and 2 sisters and my sister's 6 yr old son) so I'm kinda thinking that if I can't go on whatever ride(s) with her, at least one of them will. But I do remember the lazy river I used to go on with my mom and she'd always fall asleep in the tube. lmao. So as long as there'd be at least a few like that I could do while being PG then that would be nice. It seems an awful shame though to spend so much money on MY ticket if I can't do anything, but worth it for DD who's never been to a water park.

I would call or look online to check the policy for pregnant people. When I was pregnant with DD, we were on a cruise that stopped in the Bahamas. We went to the Atlantis resort and I wasn't able to do any of their water attractions - not even the lazy river.
