Wow Air to maybe operate out of Islip - this would be great!
Islip is in talks with discount airline Wow Air to operate out of Islip. Wow flies to Iceland - from which many connecting flights to other European cities could be made. (And even just going to Iceland is pretty great too!) I really hope this happens!

It would be great but it wouldn't happen quickly. They would need to renovations since it is not set up to be international right now. Customs would need to be added.

I don't see this ever happening. That airport is not equipped to handle huge jets required to fly internationally, and there is no land to expand the runway is there?

We couldn't even get a jet blue terminal there.
I don't see it happening either.
There was talk of Jet Blue for a while and that stalled out too
