yes this is true
and there are definitely many of these ladies around long island or in certain areas, but I DO NOT think they're representative of Long Island women.

I couldn't get thru the entire episode. These women are giving Long Island a bad name. They in no way represent Long Island.
They are making "the north shore" sound like it's Beverly Hills and the "south shore" has" less class ". Disgusting. This is far from the truth. I hope this show gets canceled tomorrow.

Yes!!! I was thinking the SAME thing as I watched. I've heard of him on commercials and such but after watching just one episode, he seems like such a moronic tool that even if I was going to ever consider plastic surgery he'd be the LAST person I'd call. I don't think it's smart business to be on a reality show because you never know how they will end up spinning you in the edits.

completely agree. I am from the south shore  ....but I know people from all over the island, north shore included, and I don't know anyone like these women!
Remember the show "Princesses of Long Island"...OMG...like really? These types of people are such a small part of the long island community...of course they exist, but they certainly are not the norm.

I loved when she said The men on the North Shore control everything. My husband & I were cracking up.
It's a pretty awful show.
They're about my age and look a thousand times older!

I missed it and will have to watch it before next week's episode.
I watch the other RH shows and never thought those people represented an entire state/city or county. All the shows are train wrecks but I still watch

It was terrible. I hated the comments about the south shore not being as classy, and the woman (who works) not being as classy bc that is where she grew up. Excuse me, but NONE of them were classy at all. Money can't buy you class -- take it from Countess Louann LOL
But seriously that party was all for show for the mother. What a terrible role model.

Assholes, all of them.
With that said, I don't think they are giving LI a bad name.....the same premise has been done for NYC, Atlanta, OC, etc and I don't think just bc I watched the shows that ALL people in those areas are like that. I like to think people understand how TV, especially, reality TV works.

They were like the grown up version of Princesses of Long Island. The woman married to the plastic surgeon was the worst of the bunch, she comes across like the nastiest snobbiest witch, and for being married to a plastic surgeon, she looks the worst!!!! She looks a good 10 years older than she is.
The men on this show seem like a bunch of a*holes! Although, I think Arthur's problem may have been that he didn't want to be on the show, or didn't want his gf on the show discussing their relationship...can't say I blame him if that was his issue.

Cori didn't look like that 14 years ago. She had A LOT of work done. Those aren't her lips either. Amy is the only one that hasn't had any work done but she is a nasty woman even though she comes across on the sweet but naive side on the show.
It kills me that Andi degraded the south shore but she is on the Nautical Mile all summer. Phoney!!
