Thought I've seen it all
I am sitting towards the back of the express bus and watching in fascination as a woman sitting in the front is putting curlers in her hair.
All I keep thinking is that I have to remember to put my eyeliner on at work because I don't want to do it on the bus.

That's funny too because unless they were hot rollers I would imagine they would take quite a while to set.
So is she planning on walking into work with those bad boys in her hair and sitting at her desk for a few hours with them in?

So she gets off the bus at the first stop at 39th and 3rd - with the rollers still in her hair.
No scarf covering them, out there for everyone to see.

I saw something similar on a flight to FL. 3 girls got on the flight no makeup and hair in curlers. Walked off looking like super models.
I just don't get why people don't get fully ready at home. Or wait to do the makeup at work.

this I don't see as a big deal if they are all sitting in the same row so they aren't bothering strangers. it probably gave them something to do while on the plane.
also while I wouldn't walk around in curlers I don't see a big deal about people doing it but this is coming from someone who never wears make up (and the once and a while I do its only eye makeup) and will go out in sweats and hair thrown up!

I was thinking the same thing... I guess I just don't find it that strange.
And for a flight to florida - if you are on a 3 hour flight and you are all done up first, you are not going to look so fresh when you get there... but if you have your hair set and take it out and do your make up on the flight, you will walk off looking great, like those 3 ladies... that makes total sense to me.

I saw someone do that on a flight to London. She went into the rest room in grubby clothes and came out in designer wear. When she got off she looked fabulous, all ready to go clubbing.

You're going to think I'm nuts but your post just gave me all the fuzzies for my old express bus characters. I miss those nutbags and would let them sit on my lap if it meant being able to take the express bus again!

I thought this was going to be something gross. Like picking nose and smearing it on the subway pole near your seat, over and over again.
I don't really see anything wrong with the rollers and making the most of your time.
