Dryer
My dryer seems to not be drying My clothes I have to do it 4 times to get things Dryed! I dont know if its an old dryer or maybe something is unplugged,it worked when we moved in the house but now something is wrong. Has anyone had any problems with their dryer and was it fixable? Thanks

Re: Dryer
if its old or out of warranty it may be cheaper to have it replaced instead of fixed.

Re: Dryer
I would check all the connections behind the machine and then check to see if it is still under warr. if not, either get a repair person in to check it out or purchase a new machine. Also, do you have enough AMP's for the machine?

Not 100% sure how to figure out your AMP, I'll ask DH tomorrow and let you know. I know friends of ours had a very slow dryer (took a couple of tries to get clothes dried properly) and it turned out to be the connection was never properly set up and all they need was an electric (ie DH's friend) to fix it.

you will svae money on your electrical bill with a new dryer - especially if you are running it 4 times for one load.
Did you empty the lint trap?

Re: Dryer
sounds like the heating element went.
how old is the dryer? It may not be worth to spend the $ fixing it.
