4th of July Weekend
DH started a new job recently so he has only 3 days off which he will need for when I have a baby in September.
We would like to do a small trip before the baby comes.
Any recommendations for July 4th weekend driving distance?
I know hotels will be pricey. We would like to be on/near the water.
How's Ocean City, MD? How long does it take from the Queens Line and any recommendations for hotels?
How's Wildwood been recently? I haven't been in over 10 years and DH has never been. I usually stay a few blocks away from the boardwalk on the water.
Atlantic City is always our go-to when we can't decide where else to go and I would like to do something different.

Re: 4th of July Weekend
We just booked Wildwood for August. Problem is, I am a hotel snob and can't stand most of the dumpy old places down there. We found a place in Diamond Beach (about 3 miles from the Boardwalk) that is brand new. They basically took a hotel from the 70s and tore it down to the steel beams and redid it All rooms are suites with kitchens and balconies and a separate living area and then the bedroom

It's not cheap, but, it's soooo nice. Private beach, service on the beach etc
Check it out
