Spinoff to leaving disney
We are planning on one full day and one partial day at magic kingdom. Our checkout is Saturday, shuttle coming around 4pm. We are staying at grand floridian. Which do you think is better:
A: Full day Tuesday mk
Evening mk on Wednesday (resort day first half)
Then on checkout day, spending time at resort, meals, downtown disney, etc.
OR
B: full day Tuesday
Full resort/relax day Wednesday
Return to mk checkout day

It depends. When you say evening at the MK will you go at like 7 or like 3? You will really want two days at the MK and will want to do the parade and fireworks. I would be more inclined to say A if the second day you were hitting the MK sometime after lunch. But if you are only going that even for the parade and fireworks I would go with B so you get the most time.

We are in the same situation on our trip. We decided to do MK for dinner on arrival night & walk around, full day at MK on Tuesday & then return to MK on departure day for the am & then back to resort hour prior to departure (magical express will get us around 230)

How long are you staying? I was there a week so I did have a resort full day, we just relaxed, pool, went for a nice dinner.
You can always go to MK during the day, go back to the resort for a break and head back to MK at night. MK is pretty exhausting, you & your family might need a break.
