Ohana breakfast vs be our guest lunch

I know one is quick serve and the other is not....what would you pick solely based on food and experience?

Ohana BKFST was the WORST MEAL AND EXPERIENCE I had, I would never ever ever go back for the character meal.

Ohana breakfast is a character meal and BOG lunch isn't. Does that matter to you? Both get pretty good reviews so it depends on what you're wanting to get out of it.

I have heard great things about Ohara. It just came up as available but it's around the same time as big lunch. So trying to decide which one to keep....more so for experience. Character doesn't matter per say, more so just the fun of it.

I take it you'll already be at MK that day. BOG lunch is cute but there's not much to it other than getting to eat in Beasts castle. For ohana you'd have to leave MK and take the monorail to the Polynesian. Are you ok with leaving the park and losing time at MK?

Ohana breakfast vs be our guest lunch

I actually LOVED Ohana breakfast!

I also enjoyed BOG lunch. Food was good but like PP mentioned there really isn't much to experience..just eating at the Beast's Castle, which was nice don't get me wrong. Overall, my vote goes to Ohana breakfast since my kids love the characters there (Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, Stitch) and food I thought was great.

Was Ohana the one served family style? If so we had such a fun time there...characters did so much interaction with the kids they had conga lines and games and dancing. I would definitely recommend it.

I've heard great things about Ohana. We have never been though! The lunch is nice, but beyond seeing inside the castle, it's not over the top wow, exciting, super fun KWIM?

i would choose Ohana hands down. I've had breakfast at Ohana (and dinner), and lunch (twice) at BOG. Breakfast is served family style, with everything you would expect - eggs, bacon, mickey waffles, potatoes etc. They also give a basket of bread on the table, which was heavenly, and serve a tropical fruit juice Characters are Lilo & Stitch, and usually Mickey and Pluto. BOG is quick service lunch in a really nice setting. You can check out the menu online to see if it is to your liking. The times that I was there, we spent a LOT Of time wandering around trying to find an open table. Beverages are self serve, which is nice - especially since you get refills unlike other quick service locations. We are headed back, and having had the choice, we selected Ohana.

Re: Ohana breakfast vs be our guest lunch

Have been to Ohana on 2 trips & was VERYVERYVERY dissapointed on our last for dinner & breakfast (at it was out last meal before heading out). Service, food, even the restaurant IMO went down from out trip in 2012.
We did BOG for lunch & dinner & had a better time!

We won't return to Ohana unless we hear from many that it has recently improved!!!!!!
