Response to Thank you Letter
Had a great interview a few days ago with a prospective employer. The interview actually lasted 2 1/2 hours and ended with the director showing me some spreadsheets as examples of some of the work the position would be doing (I take that as a great sign). He did say "he would be transparent that he liked me; but still had 1 other interview scheduled the following day and would be in touch in the next few days.
I just received an e-mail from him that the person had to reschedule until next week so he wanted to update me since things would be pushed back a littler farther.
I'd really like this job...I'm not sure how to respond to his message.
Just say "No Problem; please keep me posted" or something along those lines. Try to sell myself again in the response? I wonder if they look down on the other applicant that they rescheduled? Does that play in my favor?

Maybe something along the lines of... "Thank you for letting me know. It was a pleasure meeting with you and I enjoyed discussing the role at xyz company. I am very interested in this opportunity and I look forward to hearing from you soon. In the meantime should you have any questions, feel free to contact me."

I got the job!!! I just got the e-mail that they want to extend me the offer. Have to figure out salary and benefits now!
