hey! lol. thanks for the info! I did see the spongebob ones, and bought a hello kitty one at rite aid.... Someone actually found the kinder eggs somewhere in queens but they were just general tinker toys inside, not character wrapped or anything. some Italian delis carry chocolate eggs with toys inside but they aren't the same as what our kids are watching lol. those eggs are $$$ on ebay and amazon.

Kinder Surprise Eggs are banned in the US so I am surprised any store has them at all. I know when I travel back and forth to Europe I stock up for friends and family.
Why are they banned?
Because years ago, some child choked on the toy inside. They come in a small plastic case (shaped like a pill) and then you open that the toy is inside. They are small BUT not that small so a parent had to clearly not be paying attention.
Classic case of one ruining it for everyone else.

Thank you for this post. I thought my son was the weirdest kid on the planet. I didn't know other kids actually watched these too! He is obsessed with those videos. Lol. It's crazy!!
same here! I can't believe there is a post on here about them. it makes me feel slightly better about it. still can't stand hearing them over and over!

I'm so glad my dd isn't the only one obsessed with watching YouTube videos of egg openings lol its not exactly the same but my dd likes the my little pony fashums, they are little plastic squshy ponies, they also have them in ninja turtles, planes, Minecraft.
My daughter is obsessed with fashems too! I found them at Five Below and MJ Beanz. Five Below actually had a better selection than MJ Beanz. Now if I could only find some Shopkins.

You gotta stalk Walmart and target for shopkins, its hit or miss. Iv actually only found them one time at walmart after searching for months. I made my mom look for them in fl BC I figured its all old people down there and low n behold she got them lol
