DS is 2.5 and we have yet to give him a lollipop. I don't plan on it until he asks me for one and even then it wouldn't be a dum dum. Those scare me too.

Stupid Question about Lollipops!
I'm not a fan of lollipops at that age. They can't finish them and you have a sticky mess. And that's BESIDES the danger of them falling with it in their mouth, etc. I made it clear, no thank you.
Banks notoriously tried to give them to AJ and I had to explain to my aunt NO CANDY! Not due to sugar, due to SAFETY!
ETA: but she could have a cookie! LOL

I hate giving my sons lollipops & I really hate when others offer them to my kids. They usually receive 2 each when they get their hair cut every 2 months. They don't make me nervous safety wise but I hate the kids to eat any kinds of candy since it's bad for their teeth.

My son eats lollipops and is 26 months. He must be sitting when eating them. My favorite to give are ring pops bc there is no way they can choke on a stick and it's like a binky which he is used to having
