From liquid to chewable vitamims
DS has started refusing his liquid vitamin, he's 16 months old. is it possible for me to get him on a chewable? he has a well visit coming up next week so I can ask the ped as well but just wanted to see on average when everyone's kids went from liquid to chewable vitamins. TIA!

We started at 2 for my DS. in the beginning he wouldn't chew them but he would suck on it til it finally melted!

i started giving chewable to dd around 20 months b/c she saw older dd. she chewed it no problem and loves them

can u put the liquid vitamin in his drink? ive been doing this with my dd and shes 2.5. doc said its fine and she downs all her drinks so I know shes getting the vitamin

My ped said keep them on it until they won't take it anymore. That happened around 2.5 for my kids even though I mix it in their foods. They just started refusing. I guess they started noticing the taste. We started with the flintstone toddler chewable. One of my twins wouldnt eat it. Got a gummy vitamin and the other one wouldn't eat that. So now one has the flintstone and one has the gummy. We tell them come get their vitamin in the morning and they eat them no problem.

We got the Rx for chewables at her 2 yr well visit, but still had refills on her liquid. She actually started the chewables at 27ish months with no problems.

thanks for the feedback! I'll def try the suggestion about adding it to his drinks and hopefully we have success there
