Reccomend a book to bring to a baby shower
For my SIL's baby shower we are doing a book collection. I already chose 2 books to bring for it (Pat the Bunny & I'll Love You Forever) but my mom is also looking for some ideas. Its a baby girl if that makes a difference.
What were some of your favorite books to read to your DC?

Reccomend a book to bring to a baby shower
I had this at my shower and it was great. I would avoid anything too popular though, bc some of the books like goodnight moon, on the night you were born, brown bear, etc I ended up with multiple copies

One of my favorite books that I bought my DD is Someday, by Allison McGhee. Makes me cry every time.
Another great one is Birthday Presents by Cynthia Rylant. I cried reading this book to my DDs class on her birthday.

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom - it's for when they are a older but my DS loved it. I also find with these book collections you will see a bunch of good night moon etc, so I try to get for when they are toddler age and older.

The Giving Tree is my favorite book. I still can't read it to my kids without crying. And I've been reading it for 8 years now

Get some books for toddlers/preschoolers too so you build up their library for later.

A lot of great books already mentioned but they are really popular so maybe something not so popular but still great.
