Re: Need ideas for healthy snacks for a 2 year old
My DD loves most things green so finding healthy snacks for her is easy peasy. We do
Vegetables and dip (celery, carrots, red/yellow pepper, cucumber,) Sometimes celery and peanut butter Pees Fruit Yogurt Sometimes I take yogurt, milk and some fresh fruit and make a smoothie Sometimes I'll drizzle yogurt on fruit sometimes peanut butter Cheese and whole wheat crackers Banana muffins or vegetable muffins (broccoli and zucchini are my DDs favorite) Hard boiled eggs Peanuts Trail mix Hummus and pita chips Oatmeal Cinnamon raisin bread with peanut butter Home made applesauce is sooooo easy and healthy Yogurt and granola Pasta salad with cheese and chopped vegetables in olive oil or Italian dressing.

Re: Need ideas for healthy snacks for a 2 year old
My daughter is turning 3 in April but some of her snacks are
- dried "just cherries" from trader joes (I like these because they do not have added sugar like craisins -sliced fruit (my daughter loves cutting apples into shapes with cookie cutters but she loves all fruit. Plums, promegrante, oranges, grapes cut in half, all berries etc) -Siggis yogurt. Lower sugar and all natural. I like to freeze the tubes for her too and she loves them. -peanut butter and crackers -puffins cereal -apple sauce. No sugar added from whole foods but I also do have the pouches for her when we are on the go -string cheese or cheese cube -homemade smoothie -half a muffin
We usually try to do the fruit or yogurt. I wish she would do the veggies more but have to pick my battles since she's mostly a good eater.
