What to do for pre-k teacher who is leaving?
My granddaughters preschool sent a letter home last week that her pre-k teacher is leaving next Fri. 2/27. My daughter works on Monday so she won't be dropping her off at school. She won't see any of the parents to find out if they are making a collection or anything. Any suggestions on a gift? She can't afford much, but wants to do opening. My granddaughter will continue to see this teacher at her dancing school because she works there on the day my granddaughter has dance class. She goes 3x a week, for 2 1/2 hrs. If that makes difference. Thanks for any suggestions.

I would probably do something small like a nice card and a candle from Bath & Body.

My son's pre-k teacher is leaving next week too. I got her a giftcard to Amazon - but, my son has been in a class with her for 13 mos.

When my son's teacher left I got her a bouquet of flowers and a card.
