Pre-School Teacher Gift
Do you give a gift to the teacher's at the end of the year?
If so, what do you give (please some ideas)?
How much do you spend? TIA

Yes. He had the same teacher last year, I gave her a $50 GC at the end of the year.
I love her, she's amazing. This year is his last year with her... I'm not sure what I'm getting her yet. I was thinking of a Pandora bracelet and charm.

I'm not sure what to do.
DD and DS both have multiple teachers. They go to preschool full-time and they have 2 teachers in the morning, 2 teachers in the afternoon...so we are taking 8 teacher gifts.
For Christmas my son's class collected money and I did little plants for my DD's teachers.

In our preschool the class gives a gift and I will contribute to that. Last year I did not know that some parents give an additional small gift on top of the class gift. So this year, I got milk creamers in glass that look like the small kids milk cartons. I also gave gift cards at the holidays.

In our preschool, the whole class contributes towards a joint gift. I am a class mom and the other class mom and I are going in together on a book for each of the teachers with all the kids pictures in it.

Yes. I also give something to the teachers assitant as wellm if there is one. GC are great. Target, Barnes and Nobles...those are always good.

I do cash...preschool/daycare teachers get paid so little for what they do...I figure cash is best.
Depending on the relationship and how many teachers are in a room, I give $30-40.

Yes definitely! My sons 2 teachers have been amazing and I want to show them how much I appreciate them. There is a delicious italian place that they drive right passed when they leave school each day, I will get GCs there or I might do movie theater GCs that they can use with their family.
