Gender Reveal Question
My SIL is having a very small gender reveal (just inlaws, us, her MIL, one friend)...am I supposed to bring a gift? I had a large gender reveal party (50+) people and I was shocked that some people brought gifts (about half)...thanks!

Re: Gender Reveal Question
Thanks...I was surprised when people brought gifts and sort of thought it would be better to wait until we know the gender.

Gender Reveal Question
I felt weird not bringing anything so I just did a card and a board book.

Gender Reveal Question
when my SIL had one I brought two onies - one that said "little brother" and one that said "little sister". I gave her the sister one when we found out it was a girl and returned the brother one.

Re: Gender Reveal Question
I had a gender reveal and I did not expect gifts at all but everyone did bring a card and a little something. So, then when I went to a gender reveal I did bring something. If it were me and I were going to one, I would bring something like "Sophie" because it's gender neutral and not too much. That, with a card, is just right, IMO.
Again though, as the hostess I did not expect anything.

Re: Gender Reveal Question
I'd just bring a dessert or something. I don't like going anywhere empty handed.

Re: Gender Reveal Question
I think I'm going with a little sister/little brother onesie and I'll give whichever fits. I'm not so worried about going empty-handed because it's at my mother in laws and they aren't the type to care about that (and DH's family never brings things when they go to each other's houses). I don't want to spend a lot because I will buy when the baby is born and plan to give a generous gift then.

Re: Gender Reveal Question
I brought a gender neutral outfit lol. I figured after that day a lot of what they got would be either pink or blue. I do like the picture frame or board book idea though. You don't have to bring anything, but I felt like I couldn't go empty handed.
