Re: Baby Einstein

I tried it early on so I could take a shower, but they both showed no interest until about 3 months.

What's great about it is it occupies them so you can do other things but later you can use it so they recognize objects (apple, candle, etc).

Luka doesn't like it. I tried it a few times and he has no intrest in it. But put on Laurie Berker and he is all ears and if he isn't cranky and in his jumper he goes nuts jumping and sometimes he will scream when Oh Suzanna comes on.

Re: Baby Einstein

I have both the box sets from Costco and right now I've been just using the musical ones. I figure it relaxes them to listen as they are dozing off during the day. It's way too early for them to actually "watch" it - they are only 4 weeks.

About 6 weeks!
Just so I could take a shower.
Now she watches it to unwind before bedtime for a bit, and once in awhile in the morning still (though she's taken an interest in the trippy TeletubbiesChat Icon ).

Re: Baby Einstein

I don't know what is wrong with my DD. She is 5 months old and doesn't seem very interested in them. I have tried several different ones. She looks up at it but then just continues with what she was already doing.

Now, Yankee baseball, that's another story...she is mezmorized by it. Thanks alot DH!! Chat Icon

I started at 5 (I was holding off), but I wish I had done it earlier and had more free time for showers and bathroom trips! LOL

Re: Baby Einstein

I used to baby sit and he used to watch einstien so my DS was hooked from the beginning. I would just turn the tv super loud so he could know something was going on. Now he is almost three and still oves it, we are getting hooked on Little einstiens, we have it in the car and it is fab for long trips.
