X-Post - Anyone deliver at Mercy Medical Center recently?

I delivered #1 in 2012 there. They were fantastic. It was an emergency c-section and he was in the NICU the first 2 nights (thankfully all OK). The last full day/night that we were there, he was out of the NICU and in my room with me. At night, they didn't take him back to the nursery and I asked the RN about it. She said that they only take babies into the nursery at night if mom is too sick to care for the baby. Her exact words were, "if you were home, you couldn't send him to the nursery". That was my only "bad" experience with the RNs there

#2 is due in June and I'd like to go back to Mercy but I'm hesitant about them not allowing me to send him to the nursery at night. I've heard conflicting things. Recently, the RN at my OB office (who is also an RN at Mercy) told me that if I push, they will put the baby in the nursery....especially if I tell them I'm going to sleep because they are not allowed to leave a baby in the room with a sleeping mother. Just wondering if anyone had a recent experience with this?

My best friend delivered there in November. They let her send the baby to the nursery both nights she was there. Her room was REALLY small though. She said that was the only negative.
