If you are staying in with DH and the kids on valentines day what are you making for dinner?
Wanted to make something "special". Most likely DH and the kids (ages 2&4) will be home for valentines dinner. Have no idea what to make.
What are you guys cooking?

My ds bday is feb 13th. He'll be turning 3 and the kid loves turkey. So were basically having a thanksgiving dinner lol

The pizza place near us is doing heart shaped pizza. I think that is a fun thing to make with the fam and easy too!

We usually cook just for us and not for DD. In the past we have made mussels (one year in a tomato-beer sauce and one year in a white wine sauce). This year we were thinking of making different sushi rolls. But then I thought... that's a lot of work. Let's just order in haha.

This is a good idea! ...my kids are pretty picky but I know they love pizza. I can have some toppings ready for them to add and we can bake a dessert together.

We're ordering a heart shaped pizza. We did that last hear too and it was really cute. My DD liked it.

I was thinking of doing fondue... cheese fondue and chocolate fondue but haven't thought of what the main, hearty course wold be (I can eat cheese and bread for dinner but I think DH woldn't approve  ) I thought the kids wold appreciate.

We do fondue some years and it's so much fun! DH is probably not going to be around Saturday so I'll either make pizza for DD and I or I'm going to try to get my sister and her husband to come hang out with me and get some take out. Doesn't every newlywed couple want to hang with their little sister on vday!?

I am making heart shaped pizzas with the kids for lunch. I have no idea what the kids will have for dinner yet but DH and I are ordering in sushi once the kids go to bed.
