Gift for 2 year girl - ideas?
My DD will be turning 2 very soon. Grandparents and others keep asking for toy gift ideas and I'm at a loss. Any suggestions or first-hand experiences with toys at this age? thanks!
Thanks for the suggestions so far. We have a lot of the gender neutral stuff from her big brother (like an easel and playset stuff). We have some outdoor stuff too already. We don't have a tricycle for her yet, but she could use her brothers. But, I'd take suggestions on tricycles too just in case !  This is why it's so difficult for me to provide suggestions when asked!

We have one of those already too. I'm so thankful you are throwing out these suggestions. I'm going to show my mom this thread because she doesn't believe me when I tell her I can't think of anything! lol

These kids these days have SO much.
ugh I hear you..I'm at a loss too. I think I am going to start asking for clothes or money towards an session/class. She has like every toy. Now she wants the Frozen Ice Castle lol

Any movie she really likes? DS just turned 2 and got so many toy story action figures. He loves them. We got him a remote control car and play doh set. My mom got him a power wheels. Other big hits- dr set (I know they sell the whole doc mcstuffins checkup center), books, blow up punching bag.
We got him the super spud mr potato head for Christmas- he loves that too!

At 2, I started getting my DD dress up dresses and Disney movies (little mermaid, nemo, beauty & beast, cinderella). Her brother benefits from watching the movies too.
She really started using the dresses at 2.5... but I bought them in a larger size 3-4T (so they look like ballgowns)
If she watches Disney Junior, they have a NEW Sheriff Callie dress & hat at Target that my DD adores.
Playdough, books, clothes, & coloring books are always good.

Painting supplies and stuff to paint

Non Toy ideas:
Gift certificate to a class you think she may be interested in such as Music Together or a dance class or gymnastics
Barnes and Noble Membership with some books
$ towards her college fund (I know not fun but if has everything why waste the $ put it towards good use)
Clothes (spring and summer are coming)
** Tickets to a show (circus, sesame street and Disney princesses are on right now)
