If you had DC's birthday party at White Post...
did you invite childless friends/family? My DDs will be turning 1 and 3 in April. For DD1 we did her 1st birthday at a restaurant and very few children came. Now a lot more of our friends have children so I think a kid friendly party will work better but what will others do while the kids are feeding animals etc? Of the people we need to invite, less than half have kids. I could do a simple brunch for family (DH's aunts, uncles, and grandma) another day and have our friends come to the farm whether they have kids or not just to hang out but I don't know if that's weird. Would love to hear what others have done!

Re: If you had DC's birthday party at White Post...
At 1 we did a party in a reception hall with family and friends. We invited some childless friends bc it was a sit down place. We also had a bunch of kids there so we had kid entertainment. For their 2nd we did a kiddie place and didn't invite childless friends and cut the list basically to kids they play with. We still had to invite a few of dhs aunts and uncles and of course our parents were there. We were at le play cafe and the grandparents and adults with no kids just sat in the lounge area and chatted. The parents of kind went with the kids. Idk how white post parties are set up but the adults will either go see the animals with the kids or stand around and chat. It's an awkward transition with who to invite and who to cut.

We would have opted to have everyone over for cake (family) but our entertaining space is lacking and it would be like 25 ppl with family alone. Then we wouldn't have invited family to the kid party.
