what did your older one(s) say you were having? And were they right?

with my 2nd he said it was a girl. It was a boy and he introduced him as his sister for a month after he was born. That was confusing for people. 
with our 3rd, my oldest said it was a girl. He was wrong. It was a boy. My oldest cried and was not happy it was another boy.

When you were pregnant with a 2nd/3rd/etc...
My oldest was right both times. He said boy when I was pregnant with our second. He did occasionally say girl when asked, but far more often said boy. He was not quite 2 when he was born. He was 3.5 when we got pregnant with our daughter. When we sat our boys down and told them we were having a baby, he said, "A new sister?!" and he stuck to it with unwavering certainty until she was born.

When we found out it was twins DD was insistent that it was a girl and a boy. She was right.

My girls are only 2 so they don't really know what's going on, but when I'd ask they would both say boy. It's a girl though.

My 2 year old went back and forth but mostly wanted a sister. She did however pick out a boy name which we actually decided to go along with if we had a boy. Her sister is now 2 months old and she still sometimes tries to call her by the boy name she wanted!

DS: No, thank you...
I guess he is still in denial.

My oldest said I was having a girl....and actually cried when we found out it was a boy - but loves his brother to pieces (but still wants a sister and its not happening).
