I think DD has yeast infection or UTI- any home remedies?
Yesterday & today she said her inside hurts :( Then I started to think about it & remembered that 2 weeks ago she had 2 accidents in a row, she's been potty trained over a year so I thought it was strange one right after another. She used to go all day without peeing but lately she's been going pretty often. Instead of thinking something may be wrong I was just happy she wasn't holding it in. Now I feel bad because I'm pretty sure she has some kind of infection :( I guess I have to bring her in but I was wondering if there was anything I could try first or some kind of home remedy that may help. I'm afraid she'll hold in her pee for thr rest of her life if I take her to the dr because she's going so frequently!

I know many believe drinking cranberry juice can help prevent uti but I don't think it can cure one.
My dd had a uti. If she can per in a cup the dr visit isn't bad at all. I would take her to the Dr. Left untreated a uti could become dangerous to the kidneys.

I would take her to the doc. My DD had one and had to go on antibiotics for about a week to clear it up.

If it's a UTI you need an antibiotic. You don't want to fool around with that, it could travel to her kidneys. Not to mention I have had UTI's and they are so uncomfy and painful, I wouldn't want her to suffer.

I would take her to dr, that is nothing you can cure on your own and can be dangerous if it travels.
My DD got diagnosed with one on Friday and she was in misery before the diagnosis. She is on antibiotics and doing much better.

Definitely the DR - she is too young to go without treatment. As she gets older there are preventive measures, but once she has one, you really shouldn't wait to clear it up on its own.

I used to have chronic UTI's and honestly if its at the point of pain.. just go see the doc. Nothing at home CURES it, just delays or treats the symptoms. You need an antibiotic if its an infection.
ETA: Yeast infection... those I soak AJ in a warm bath. Sometimes its not an infection as much as it is she's not 'clean'. Doc says girls may get feces in there and it gets irritating for them. So I soak her in a good bath (after cleaning her of course) and pat her dry and as well air dry then lastly use aquafor. If she's better by the end of the day, I'm done. I've always figured if it bothered her the next day I'd take her in. But you can literally SEE her vagina getting very pink and irritated. She had BAD yeast infections as a baby. I went through creams and Rxs galore. ugh! Its been easier since she's been potty trained. We always kept her changed a LOT (yeah ooh big deal waste of diapers) so she generally HATES being wet. She is pretty good about wiping herself.
