Boston Hotel & Restaurant Recs??
Alright, my beloved and I are going to head to Boston to see Garth Brooks in concert... I have never been to Boston and I have always wanted to go!!
As a result, I am clueless about hotels and where to stay, as well as places to eat.
Any recs near the "TD Garden"?? I guess that's their MSG?? That's where the Garthster is playing
Just looking for real close to the concert so we can walk or take a shuttle from the hotel (so we can drink lol and don't have to worry about parking either) and looking for a nice hotel. B&B would be fine too - I don't need a "chain" or anything - either way, just as long as it's a nice place and ROMANTIC would be the best!!!
Thanks so much!!
OH and a rec for an amazing place to have dinner would be GREAT!!! Any kind of food -- we are not picky, just excellent food of any kind!

Check out the onyx hotel (kimpton). It's very close, and kimptons are great boutique hotels. For dinner you will probably want to go for Italian in the north end.

OK well the man wore the pants in this one -- he picked the Omni Parker House Looks so pretty online. Can't wait!!
Thanks for the recs -- the Kimpton ones look perfect for when my sister and I go together (on another trip).
Now, where to eat LOL
I'm thinking Deuxvas -- it gets great ratings on Trip Adviser.

You can't beat the North End for Italian. Its their verision of Little Itialy.
I haven't live in Boston for years but my Favorite in the North End was Giacomo (its right on Hanover Street) and Very close to the garden.
For cheap eats and beer (breakfast too) Pour House in the Back Bay......That was our go to for a quick cheap lunch or a good happy Hour spot.
Also in the Back Bay a good place for Steaks is Abe and Louies - Friends used to work there.
I am guessing the Parker House has been redone since I was there but the rooms are small since it's an older hotel.

This is where I was going to suggest. We stayed there a few years ago and it was so nice. There is a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse right across the street.

Neptune oyster was the best, if you like seafood.

Giacomo's in the North End-- 100% agree. But I dont think they accept resos and you may have to wait....I think they only take cash. But, YUMMY!

Abe and Louie's is a great steak house. Not sure the location in relation to the concert but great food. We stayed at the Liberty Hotel for our first anniversary. It's an old jail so that was fun. Good bars in the hotel which was nice
