The flu

Any experts tell me about this. Struck my house starting Sunday night and has been a nightmare since. My 3 yr old started a fever Sunday night and tested for the flu at the doctors Monday. Have had him on children's Advil and natural cold meds for the cough and runny nose. My 5 yr old got sick Tuesday. Never tested for the flu since its been a low grade fever and pretty much similar to his brother. When I think they're getting better they get a fever again. Some coughing. Not as much anymore and congested.
How long will this last? Ugh!
Now DH is sick with a fever.
I'm doung lots of juice as well along with humidifier, Vicks, etc.
Doing lots of wash, cleaning, Lysol, hand washing, etc. Any other advise?

Believe me I have been. Meant to add that. My 5 yr old too. My 3 yr old hates it and I keep reminding DH but who knows when he does.

Other than what you're already doing, I would say open the windows and air out the house. I'm so sorry you're dealing with this!

Thank goodness it's been mild bc I've had the windows open too. I open their windows during the day in their rooms and took them for a short walk since they were feeling a little better. Didn't last long bc when we went in they were run down again. It's been mostly laying on the couch and lots of TV. I'm wiping everything down. I'm a neat nut to begin with so cleaning even more.

Thanks all. I just want this over already. All plans have been cancelled and I'm losing my mind. Lol. My mom is coming over tomorrow so I can get out to go food shopping. I love making plans and keeping busy so this cabin fever is getting to me. Lol
