First Walking Shoes? (for a girl...)
What shoes did you get your DD as a first walking shoe? My 10 month old is flying around and she needs something appropriate for the cold weather. Is there a cute sneaker that I could get?

we got stride rite soft motion srt sneakers for dd when she first started walking. that is what was suggested to us at the stride rite store

First Walking Shoes? (for a girl...)
My DD is 7. For school this year she got Clarks. It is the first time I bought her every day shoes that were not Stride Rites. I wouldn't buy anything else. Although, it is not recommended that you put shoes on early walkers unless they are outdoors and need shoes for genuine protection.

We didn't get walking shoes til they were waling out in public and outdoors. (twins so they were always contained in strollers). We just got striderite.
They don't need shoes before that and barefoot is better.

Same, it's better for them to be barefoot (or socks) until they are walking outside. Until then I would just use Robeez
