Are any other moms going through this

Since moving Luka into his own room at 3 months old (now 5.5 months old) I am so paranoid. Durning the day I am fine at home and when we go for a walk but once 10pm hits I am a mess and I hear EVERYTHING and I can't fall asleep. We have a house alarm and we put it on and I still dont feel safe. I feel like someone is going to take him. Our bedrooms are on the second story and we also have a video monitor. I also get nervous when I go food shopping with him or to a very crowded place alone. Parking lots make me nervous because I am scared someone will "jump in" and high jack us. If people come to close to me I flinch (happened to me yesterday). It is very hard for me to be home alone at night for a few hours if DH goes out but I deal with it. If DH drives somewhere I turn around every time he brakes to make sure the car behind us isnt to close (nothing I could really do if I felt it was to close) It bothers me to watch shows like Law and Order:SVU or shows like that I use to love. I dont want Luka to pick up on this and I dont know what to do. Did anyone else go through this and how did you over come it.

Yes my video monitor is up so high my DH yells at me!! I have the same fear!! I to look to see if the car behind me too close.....We are freaks together Soemone said before the baby arrived get as much deep sleep as possible because once they come you turn into a light sleeper....so true for me!
